Are there other ways I can help asylum seekers and refugees in Leicester? - there are various ways of getting involved including campaigning for changes in the law, and volunteering in various roles, for example: mentoring someone who has recently received permission to stay to help them settle into their new life and access training or find work; handing out leaflets and chatting to people about asylum seekers and refugees at community events; organising a fundraising event to support one of the organisations supporting asylum seekers or refugees.
