Nottingham City of Sanctuary will be formally launched by the Lord Mayor on October 7th at the Vine Centre, Boober's Mill Road, Hyson Green.
The event has been provisionally set as 10.30 (tea and coffee available) until 2.30. Craig Barnett, the national organiser, will introduce the City of Sanctuary movement. People seeking asylum will tell their stories about integrating into Nottingham life. There will be music and workshops, and lunch will be available.
Our AGM will be held at the end of the day. Come and see what we are about, and give us your ideas and support!
