Nottingham City of Sanctuary

We want Nottingham, like Sheffield and Leicester, to become known as a
City of Sanctuary. In Nottingham, we already have flourishing but
hard-pressed groups who help people seeking sanctuary to become part of
the wider community. We want Nottingham itself to welcome, integrate,
and appreciate people seeking refuge and asylum more actively.

Second meeting of Nottingham working group

Our next meeting will be at the Friends Meeting House, 22 Clarendon St, Nottingham on Tuesday 22 July at 7.30. All interested are welcome.

Chris Jackson will chair this time and Rhiannon Grant will take minutes.

The agenda will include formalising our existence and arranging a pulbic meeting in the autumn. More ideas for action needed!

Nottingham City of Sanctuary - first meeting -

On Friday 27 June at 7.30pm, we are holding the first meeting of a seed group to set up Nottingham City of Sanctuary. The meeting will take place at the Friends Meeting House, 25 Clarendon Street, Nottingham.

All are welcome, however little or much you might be able to offer to do! Every little, including support, helps!
